The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning, teaching and all things related to the future of education. This person is always on the lookout for the latest trends in digital learning and instinctively knows how best to share and communicate that with a student audience. Someone who can zoom-out and think-big in terms of strategy and approach but also be able to get their hands dirty with the nitty-gritty, leading by example. They will need to be a team player with strong communication and influencing skills, leading the effort to build-out the marketing team from the ground-up. Finally, and most importantly, they need to be an analytical leader and always use numbers and facts to explain strategy, progress, and targets. Your Key Responsibilities • Help manage Shikho’s overall marketing, partnerships and communications strategy and goals. • Be responsible for the day-to-day management and guidance of team members within the marketing team, including hiring, training, and developing a world-class team. • Collaborate with our CEO and COO to share the Shikho vision with the wider world through all our communications. • Build the strategy and implementation of online and offline partnerships for branding and acquisition through affiliate and short-term promotional events. • Lead the build out of the strategic partnerships stakeholder map and build and maintain all relationships to achieve commercial objectives. • Ideate ground-breaking and novel campaigns to uncover untapped acquisition opportunities for digital, offline and partnerships. • Continuously experiment, test and measure across all channels to optimise growth. • Spearhead campaigns with the view to drive branding and sales performance. • Work closely with all the different stakeholders to develop and create ATL/BTL campaigns. • Oversee and manage the execution of the marketing calendar plan and channel budgets. • Be deeply involved in creating Social Media content marketing and initiating campaigns to reach targets. • Monitor and analyse ATL/BTL campaign performance that KPI driven requiring you to have knowledge and understanding in social paid, marketing, and SEO. You Should Apply If • Experienced marketing professional with more than 3 years of marketing and growth responsibility in VC-backed consumer startup; or with at least 4 to 6 years of experience in growing brand and business, preferably in the e-commerce and/or FMCG industry. • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing or Business or any related field. • Proven track record of managing and building growth teams. • Highly analytical & numbers driven: cohorts, attribution, CAC etc is your luchi and alor dom (or bread and butter). • Loves looking at data to inform them on all decision making with a focus on driving growth and optimising acquisition costs. • You are constantly running growth experiments in a highly structured and organised way that allows the business to develop a scientific decision-making process. • You have a balance of strong data and analytical skills, with the empathy to understand our customers and our brand. • You are an expert at prioritising between often conflicting long term and short-term goals and tasks, ensuring that the most impact worthy agenda is given importance. • Metrics driven but with a super deep understanding for branding. • Has excellent written, verbal and presentation in English and Bengali. • Strong customer service orientation and experience in a client-facing capacity. • Has a track record of building, managing, mentoring, and leading a team of high performers. • You have experience driving growth from start-up to scale across the marketing funnel, especially driving lifecycle marketing with new and existing customers and working closely with Product and Engineering teams. • Experience in managing P&L responsibility in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
